The course has a special focus on architectural composition, the distribution of functions and the relation between a building’s typology and the morphology of its context. The architectural history related to the design of the analyzed buildings is explicitly examined through an accurate study of the literature. Students elaborated analytical skills through the making of spatial diagrams, 2D en 3D drawings, as well as the creation of abstract models in scale 1:33.
