House of Rituals
This design consists of a sequence of spaces together providing a scenario for human activity: the Womb as the most public of these spaces, the Fireplace as a social venue, the Well as an intimate passage and the Cave as the most personal space, where the patient can retreat. The experience is as much a journey as a series of isolated moments. Each space is unique and has its own ambience. The House of Rituals initiates movement and discovery. It provides the basis for a sensory experience, namely reconnecting, through rituals, humankind and the individual with the primary experiences of everyday life.
