Mudchute Fashion House
Mudchute is a hypothetical UK-based fashion house that specializes in luxury wool-based garments and accessories. In-depth research encompassing the conceptual and theoretical etymology of ‘resilience,’ the dynamics of the fast fashion and wool industries alongside the developmental landscape of London, laid the foundation for this project. This comprehensive investigation combined with a historical study and analysis of the site located on the Isle of Dogs, London, culminated in the identification of three pivotal categories of resilience shaping the project’s framework: ecological resilience, industrial resilience, and community reliance.
