The Bouwkundewinkel offers students the opportunity to work on projects in collaboration with real clients. The projects offered are diverse and cover all aspects of the Built Environment. Students are challenged to organize the project themselves and discuss with the clients what should be created. Due to the diverse projects offered, the results are unique and reflect the project’s goal and the students’ dedication. Students investigated the redevelopment of a former factory in the municipality of Hof van Twente. They were tasked with exploring future possibilities for the abandoned industrial site. The project resulted in one urban plan for the industrial site and three explorative designs for the factory.
